Hi,

I've put together a total cost in parts for a cambelt change in a R32 GTR and its come to £299 inc VAT and delivery.

This is from totaling the following: -
Cambelt
Idler
Tensioner
Water pump
A/C belt
Alternator Belt
Power Steering Belt

Is about right? Have I got all the bits?

Is there a way to save a few pennies without cutting to many corners?

that sounds pretty complete to me (just had the same work done)...someone suggested I do the bearings too, but not sure what they meant by that (I guess the pulley bearings for the alternator, power steering, etc...?). Did the idlers, N1 water pump, Tomei belt...all for $50 in labor :D

BUt that was a favor, as I'd just paid the guy $2400 in labor last month for rebuilding just about everything on my car :(

by the way, how long will all this last until it has to be redone again? 100,000km?
