Hey guys,

My cars going in to have the brakes done and just wondered what would be best coupled up with the Alcon 380mm discs, the cosworth or ferodo pads?

I mainly use it on the weekends and will maybe go on track once a year but other than that it's for road use!

What are your suggestions?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

Wouldn't recommend the Cosworth unless its only road use and you are very gentle!

Ferodo DS2500 fine for spirited driving on the road, but if you track them they will fade and eventually overheat the disc.

If you will be doing track days then I would recommend the Carbone Lorraine RC8 pads and you may want to consider the DBA 5000 rotors that we tested at knockhill.

DBA we have on offer at £620 Inc Vat

We also stock both Carbone Lorraine and Ferodo pads

Rich :)
