took engine out to replace the sump and found this was happy think its worth a few quid aswell

the reason for removing the sump was the casing had cracked and it locked the front diff up so car wouldnt move took 6hours to be recovered from junction 30 m1 on my return from totb you might of seen me on the slip road heres a few ppics of damage


now for the questions what is the torque setting for the sump bolts
also got a leak from the turbo water pipe and how do you sugest that this is repaired its from the pipe in the picture thought there might a easy fix or something its the pipe in middle of the pic any help much apreciated cheers

Sump bolts,

M6 bolts 6.3-8.3 N-m or 0.64-085 kg-m
M10 31-42 N-m or 3.2-4.3 kg-m

Start with the inner bolts (on the sump axle) and work your way out.


Sorry cant help with the water line. My work PC blocks the image..
