I need to balance my oem crankshaft and the builder ask me to give the flywheel, clutch kit and pulley to balance it. This it's right only for the oem pulley or for the ATI damper too?

The question is, it's better to balance only the crankshaft, the crankshaft and flywheel +clutch kit or crankshaft, flywheel, clutch kit and ati damper pulley?

Balancing

With my limited very limited knowledge I have been advised that ideally everything needs to be balanced together as a whole along the bottom end. If you balance the crank first then add other components I assume it will be out of balance??

The ATI GTR damper is a zero balance damper.

Zero balance dampers should not be drilled and should not be fitted to the crankshaft for balancing.

The ATI damper should be installed at the final engine assembly.
