Hopefully I should have my first GTR by the end of this week (can't wait:runaway but work has yet to start on the new garage (other ones are dedicated to building bikes so no room). I'm looking for a waterproof & soft inside cover for the GTR. Can anyone reccomend one please?

Also (I know this is a little naughty as my post count is waaaay below 50 so I can't ask in the wanted thread) but I'm wanting to do a little track day on the 10th of Nov so was looking for a knackered set of wheels (ie cheap) and tyres with some tread :chuckle:

Looking forward to meeting folk as soon as I have the right car!!!

Currently 08 GSXR 1000 and a 13 reg Daytona 675R (wife's although I use it more than she does ).....had loads before inc 07 R1, K4 1000z, Mille Factory, various model years GSXR 600's and use to do some racing and trackdays (done probably 75 days in total) on an ex super stock K5 1000. Had time off after the R1 due to an accident with one of my dogs and only recently got back on now I have the 08 1000....already thinking it might have to go in favour of an S1000rr HP4 though :runaway:

My cover is now into 4th year and still going strong and has protected the beast so well. I've just had it done in a Lambo Grigio Grey and looks stunning and hopefully the cover will protect nicely.:clap:

Now that's a healthy collection of bikes you've had :thumbsup:

I really need to get around to doing some bike track days as I do like roundy roundy stuff too but turbo ones can be a bit of a handfull. Need to get a ZX10R me thinks.

Started looking for bits to personalise the GTR, please forgive what may seem dumb questions but I'm new to the sports car theme, are JapSpeed rear carbon wings good?

I bought this from another specialist and look at the above threads that will give you more info. I'm sure that the member cover is also good

We're going to Blyton Park in Lincolnshire, I've never done a car track day so should be interesting.

My friend has no idea I'm buying this car, he thinks he's taking me for a spin in his 2010 Subaru WRX!!!!

Thats cool. I have never raced there but within my radius.

If its going to be dry on the forecast and there are spaces I may join as it would be good to meet.

Maybe Bob could be tempted from the GTR OC as well?
