Car is 5 years and three months old and as luck would have it the light behind the fuel gauge indicator has failed:rolleyes: anyone got any ideas on a fix ( Charlie Charlie) ?

You can disassemble the cluster, but it's EVERYTHING off and replace the LED's. There was a thread I saw either on GTRLife or B35 where someone had done this and replaced all the LED's. Took them a couple of hours.

Snag of course is that you'll need to extract the cluster and send it off to them. Mine was within 5 years old so I got local HPC to swap under warranty instead. It meant zero mileage, but there's space in the service record for the HPC to certify the mileage so no great problem.

At 5 years and 3 months, I'd be tempted to contact Nissan CS and try your luck - they might agree to a warranty replacement.
