I've bought a couple of dashcams for the front and rear of the car and was wondering what's the best way to power them when the ignition is on?

I've seen fuse piggybacks or 12v sockets but which is better, if it makes a difference for wiring to the car? The fuse piggyback I've found comes in different sizes, what size are the GTR fuses, micro/mini/standard/maxi? Is there room for a 12v socket next to a power cable or is it easier to just use a fuse?

My car is going in to Litchfield at the end of the week so I may get them to do it but thought it would be best to get the sockets or fuse piggybacks this week as they may not keep them in stock and the car is only with them for a few days.

12v socket is like this

I swear any post outside of General doesn't get a look in :wavey:

No one has a dashcam installed in their car and has used either of the above methods to power it?
