hi again,ive looked in techincal section buy unable to find what im looking for,
whats the best way to derestict the gts?as so ive red up they are restricted to 112mph.
ive looked in japanese performace mag and found a company called setrans ltd and they offer an electronic converter.
has anyone had any dealings with them or used such a device?

You can buy the chip from ebay its about 30-40 pounds,should come with instructions,goes behind the clocks 3/4 wires,which will covert it to mph and go over 112

cheers buddy its nice to go to a dealer and them not trying to do all the jobs and getting the money themselves,its nice to see that you can give advice where to buy if it is cheaper elsewhere.

is it a 32 or 33 GTs

a 32 only needs a mechanical convertor got mine from setrans took about 1 minute to fit no problems

or if u can solder, solder 4 position at the back of the clock which has adjustments, which will de-restrict and put the car into MPH as well. ther eis a listing of how to do this here or the Skyline owners. I did it on mine and it worked perfect and its much more accurate than the chip I had before.
