Hi All,

1995 R33 GTR

Now having tried 3 delimeter/Kmh to Mph chips -all from the same
source (import services) - Am I pointing at a fault with my GTR?
I interupted the grey/red signal wire and the clock doesnt work
with the chip in place.
Re-connect the grey/red wire and it counts fine in km again.
The shop says he personally tested the 3rd chip sent to me.

Have tested I'm getting 12v to the chip ok.

Anyone else had the same problem and over come it?

Paul,

You would be much better off fixing your speedometer to read 180 MPH rather than fitting a speed converter. This also has the benefit of raising the speed limit to 180 MPH on a standard ECU car.

Speed converters screw up the input to the four wheel steer system.

Fit a MPH face on the clock?

But then what takes the delimiter off?

You can modify the speedo circuit board to allow the speedo to output at 180 MPH and the odometer in miles.

Much better than the system you are trying to use.

I presume you are talking about the stagea speedo.
There is a chip available as I have had two done . If you cant get one pm me I can give you two places in southampton who will do it or I may be able to get a chip for you . Wiring is the same as a skyline but the chip is different.
Also have been unable to get the mileage adjusted as no one seems to be able to do this on a stagea ( if anyone can please pm me )
