I don't know much about Skylines but I get the impression that a GTR engine is much better than a GTS engine, am I right?
What are the differences, I know that one has a single Turbo & the other has Twin but is the engine a lot stronger & tuneable in the GTR?
Any feedback would be grateful received as I'm thinking of upgrading my 200SX in the future.

well the GTR engine

is a 2.6 for starters and SERIOUSLY over engineerd a std boot levels. The code name is RB26 and the RB stands for race bred.
They can run 500 all day maybe even more over here on UK fuel and renowned as a seriously strong lump.
I believe it is an iron block as well.

Nissan pumped millions into develpoing the GTR and the engine is rumpured to be worth 10-15k out of the box as new from Nissan.

GTS is 2.5 single turbo I believe and an ali block. GTR is twin blown...well to a certain point anyone.
Depends if you name is the Rocket.

RB26 has a throttle body per cylinder, RB 25 is single throttle body.

RB26 Plenum is side fed from a front mounted intercooler.

RB25 Plenum is center fed from a Side mounted intercooler.

The RB25 is similarly over engineered as the RB26, and will run mid 300's with minimal mods.
