My interest is growing in RIPS stock internal long engine. I find it's got a rb25 head.

Sorry for a stupid question but what are the major differences between a rb25 head and rb26 head?

One thing is clear is the rb25 had got a single throttle body while rb26 has got individual, correct?

Will other engine ancillaries bolt up? I'm plannng to use all the same ancillaries including exhaust manifolds, but fit 2860s, with fuel system, rail and big injectors.

That's odd because you must be the only person able to use the search function in an advanced way.

I've just tried it, and it comes up with results including the word 'head', and/or 'rb26' and/or 'rb25' and also states that "The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search: vs"

Utterly useless imho!

Please tell me your secrets to succesful searching

RB26 has solid lifters, rb25 has hydralic. Meaning the rb26 can rev much higher. Rb26 is around 10 times the price. Im sure there is other differences but im not sure of them.

Actually , I was recently appointed to "God" status on these forums by someone who thinks all engines have to have i beam rods installed when you remove the cylinder head, maybe I have been appointed vastly superior search skills too ??

The ones you've linked are spread far and wide within those results due to the search weakness.

Yes it's possible to trawl through and find the info, but I'm really not suprised when the same question is asked again and again.

Glenn, do you not feel the search function could easily be much better?
