been looking into purchasing a Racepak or Race Technology dash 2, but have no clue whats required to get them up and running, looking for a bit of info on what ecu is required for each of these? and any further stuff to get it working?, im currently running rb ecu with nistune but that will be getting sold so i can get something with a map sensor anyway....

They are both universal, you can buy different plug/adapters to suit most ECUs.
I have a Racepak IQ3, and although I have it up and running fine.....if I was going to do it again I wouldn't buy another one. Their software is old and they don't seem interested in doing any upgrades, the display version (no logging) doesn't have a working odometer and a few other things. The Race Tech Dash 2 would be a better choice, Link now use one as their dash, so all the settings are in the Link for it

Right sorry for the total noob questions but can anyone help me here...

Does the race technology dash work with link g4?

Is it direct plug in if so?

Would link and dash combined make my defi link and bitz sbc-id redundant?

According to the Race Technology website, there is an ECU adapter available for Link G4....
