Guys if you change your gauge cluster say for another cluster is your milage saved on the ecu itself or is it saved on the cluster ?

Im thinking ecu but said i would double check . Only reason i have doubt is what if your running an aftermarket ecu like a pfc

All depends on the car, with the 32/33/34 Skyline it's only in the dash, not too sure on the new one. BMW X5's have 5 memories to clear and it's several on the new Mini's. What car are you looking at?

Sorry lads should have been more clear really. Looking into a set of nismo dials for my 34 gtr, came across a set in black over the weekend but really want the white ones.

Guy selling the black set was saying the speed is saved on the cluster itself and not the ecu.

@ Matty, if i bought nismo said for example from you and then changed them all over my new clocks would be reading 0 then correct.

thanks for input lads
