I was wondering how you figure out the actual displacement in cc's after boring and or stroking. Cause alot of the kits out there normally advertise as 2.2/2.7/2.8 etc. For instance, a stock RB26's displacement is 2568cc (2.6L) and the HKS and or Nismo stroker kits i believe bump it up to 2771cc (2.8L).
The stock Bore & Stroke is 86mm x 73.7mm which equals the 2568cc. Supposed i were to bore my engine to 88mm & stroke it 75mm, is there some way of just calculating my displacement by simply using the bore, stroke & number of cylinders or is there more to it?

Thanks in advance.

Bore x Bore x 0.785 x stroke x number of cylinders divide by 1000 if using mm.
88mm X 88mm = 7744
x 0.785 = 6079.04
x 75mm =455928
x 6 cyl = 2735568
divide by 1000 = 2735.57 cc
