Greetings people

I'm new here and am seriously considering a Skyline. I've owned everything, from an e46 M3 to a Maserati 4200, an MGB-GT to a Scooby WRX, but the Skyline is a car I'm most excited about.

I really want to take drifting to another level and am dead set on an R33. Do I get the GT-R (I've heard you can disable to AWD), or do I get the GTS-T? In my mind the latter seems the best option.

What do you fanatics think?

Agreed, buy a rear-driver. They are cheaper to buy too.
Otherwise you are paying more for a 4wd system and disabling it.

You're giving away around 100kg on the GTR V's GTSt.
To disable a 33's front wheel assist you'd have to drop the front prop shaft as their transfer case clutch pack has constant preload.
Go the GTSt.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Surely a few mods and a re-map should fetch 280-300-bhp?
Easily enough to get the back out :) I think if I spent the extra on the GT-R I'd be more cautious with it, something you can't really be when you are drifting a new car :)

GTS all the way, the RB25's are fine, it was the RB20's that were shite.

Unless you just want to be different ^^

I do have a switch I just wired in which throws my 32 into RWD only though :)
