Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, had a quick search but could not find it.

I have yet to receive my order from Alex Noble, but I was wondering, who has had experience at this HPC?

Are you comfortable with them? Do you trust them? Or would you rather go somewhere else? Do they seem knowledgable enough? Are they friendly?

Give David Noble a call.

He and his team have been A1 with me. I'm very happy to have them as my HPC.

My handover experience was great. I went to see a GTR the month before i got my car as i was through in Edinburgh and David took me out himself in the car. I wasn't really expecting that.

Iain Cameron is their GTR Specialist. Someone posted that Iain came up with a fix for a problem with brakes. I've emailed him about a few things and he's always got back to me promptly and courteously.

All the HPC's seem to be in the dark about the arrival of cars. It seem to be that the car arrive in the UK and are then delivered in a haphazard almost random fashion.

HTH

I've not had any problems with my car, so can't comment on how they handle issues or problems, but from my dealings with them so far, i can't foresee any problems.

As with all things i have first hand experience of not so great service from them i am afraid.

I was present at the original launch all those years ago and placed an order with Nobles.

I had to cancel for work reasons and swiftly found alternative employment and want to get back onto the waiting list for a GTR.

I had a specific spec in mind and spoke to Sharon on numerous occasions, she never came back to me so i took my business to Middlehurst after waiting many weeks and after leaving several messages for her to call me.

My car goes to Middlehurst via the concierge service.

Picked up Yesterday on a flat bed, the driver stays in St Helens overnight and the car is serviced and will be back with me tonight.

Fantastic service from Gary in the service department, remember as well that Middlehurst have been dealing with GTR's for many years and have an excellent relationship with Nissan GB etc.

Ask Nobles how much a 6000 mile service will cost you get them to include, engine oil, trans and diff oil as well and see the difference between what most of us are paying at Middlehurst.

Regards

Not good to hear. But as you say you have options as the servicing is all done on a flatbed. (well not on - but you know what i mean :D)

Just for info - Sharon has moved on from Nobles. Although i never dealt with her. I've always emailed David himself. Or Sandy and now Iain.

I've been very happy with AF Noble during the test/order/1200 optimisation. However, the servicing costs for oil/filter are very high in terms of the price of the oil and the labour rate, and the later services similarly so. It doesn't seem that servicing this car is difficult, if anything it is simpler than an Evo with just one drain/fill for gear oil, and similarly for the front/rear diffs. There is no cambelt/routine valve clearance adjustment, the spark plugs don't get done for ages (need the inlet manifold to be removed, but this is no different to many V6s), the air filters fit easily, maybe the brakes take a bit longer to bleed as it takes so long to walk around the car and each caliper has two nipples IIRC. It is all run of the mill, just more frequent and with an expensive gear oil if you use the Nissan brewed by naked blonde virgins on Mars (credit to Alex for that one) stuff.

I've been extremely impressed with Nobles. I will post more information when I have a bit more time.

Like misters3, I contacted David Noble this morning and had a response within minutes.

Picking my GTR up from Noble at the end of the month. David has been very helpful and informative to date. I agree Middlehurst prices are much keener, hopefuly with Nobles having the monopoly in Scotland the prices "might" soften............pig might fly LOL

My wife and i went to nobles yesterday for a test drive and found richard and David very helpful and friendly indeed. - we previously had some problems last year, hence why we cancelled our order, but think that these may have been down to Nissan and Sharon who has now moved on.
if we can agree a decent p/ex offer then we might just be tempted to place an order again. - arent in any rush as im still keen to learn from others on this site about their experiences and service levels received etc.

I went to Nobles a while ago and spoke about the R35 Black edition they had in the show room, on the stand thingy, think it was non sat nav, not 100%.
I had initially called him to ask for more details on it, but lost me job soon after. My situation has changed and iam ready to go for it again, doubt the Black one will still be there though (does anyone know) and iam still waiting for a call back.
Are the waiting lists still as long?
