Started sorting out the engine bay on my R33 still some way to go with details, the plenum is really bugging me as I want to fit a polished one.
Fitted cam covers myself... really straight forward. More aeroquip to be fitted when fuel rail and regulator are upgraded.

Looks great mate, dont let the plenum play on your mind, its far less hassle to leave it as it is than fetch the bloody thing off!

Thanks for comments gents.... I posted a while back about taking the plenum off just for the "bling" factor, most said leave it well alone. Future upgrades may include engine out so will sort it then.

I'm about to start this on my engine bay too.

I had my plenum changed to a polished one when I picked up my car cause it really bugged me, I'm mechanically challenged so I didnt do the work myself obviously....wasnt cheap !

Mine was alot worse then yours though.

Why does the paint peel on some plenums but not others ? Anyone found out why ?

I'd say leave it for another time if your planning on having engine work done anyway, looks great as it is

I'm fairly mechanically minded as I work in motorsport but had a look at the underside of the plenum with a mirror, two digit hands are required to get in there.
Has anyone found a trader who will sell you just the hose after the "TWIN TURBO" hard pipe without buying an expensive complete turbo hose kit ?
Things left too do
Samco water hoses
Rad cap
Power steering cap.... Middlehurst I guess
Tidy up wiring loom.
Polish CAS unit
Strut brace change, had this one painted for now.
Mikalor clamps throughout
Rail, injectors, regulator, stainless hoses.

Who said that these cars are addictive ?????

If your after the small angled bit of hose after the TT pipe. Its a Samco 45 elbow your after IIRC the diameter is 60mm.
