Hi!

Some problems guys.. again :)

When i start my engine when its cold, it keeps idling very nice.. But when i shut it off, go get some milk, and start it again.. engine just goes off.

If i give it throttle and drive 100-200 meters.. it wont go off?

Anyone has a clue? :lamer:

I had the exact same problem on my R33 GTR (modded to about 600bhp) after a few 1000 miles. One cause can be that after a good thrash and engine very hot then fuel can vapourise in the fuel rail and make the car difficult to start and then prone to dying almost immediatley.. usually a couple of blips of the throttle and a few 100meters driving and it will be ok. Other cause is that over time the idle fueling can change for various reasons. The solution generally is altering the fueling at idle by a tuner just to richen it up a tad and a quick inspection of the Idle control mechanism.

If you got a tuned car then just pop back to your mapper and get it adjusted.

Ohh and check the vacuum pipes e.g. to your fuel pressure reg, boost gauge etc as that wont help either
