I am wanting to buy an equal length manifold for my r32gtr due to the amazing noise they make however I am not sure how to identify which manifolds are equal length and which are not?

Do you mean manifold or are you just after equal length downpipes? As there's a lot more of them flying about!

Get a piece of string and run it along each leg from inlet to outlet. Cheap, quick and not terribly accurate but if they're miles off then it's not equal length!

What is the advantage of equal length downpipes?
I understand the principal but trying to merge flow post turbo?

I guess it could help even out pressure differentials across both turbos rather than having one turbo running slightly more efficiently than the other.

Its more of an issue on scoobies where the length difference is much more pronounced, which definitely contributes to that boxer burble! I personally prefer the noise RBs make on unequal downpipes but each to their own :)
