Thought this is quite interesting for Jon Bradshaw and Rob @ RIPS.
Yes its at sendai, and I know its some what downhill, but remeber no track bite, and a very very short run off at the end.....meaning you need big ($**' to go flat out there to run a 7sec there. Seems Drag is becoming popular in Japan again too, few new cars should also run low 8s / 7s soon (Garage Saurus now has the HKS 180sx) and Blitz have a new (ish) 3.4ltr supra with huge twins and NOS...only weighs in at 1068kg!
Anyway, Escort....
Car uses Hideck and Nos with T51-R. For thoes of you who don`t know Escort, they are perhaps the most famous pro drag shop in Japan. Have a shop in California. They have a few drag cars there too, check out the second image..
Their 3.2ltr Z.....got some power, supost to have circa 1200ps back in `93
