I've got a GTST box for sale that would take it :chuckle:
Now how much is it worth? £500 ?:)

What are the options for say at least 500 whp?
Will the standard gearbox take it?

My engine spec are:
hks 2530's
forged pistons and conrods
steel head gasket
and so on

Planing to try to max out the 2530's which should result in at least 550whp hopefully abit more.
This summer i have run the 2530's at 1,2-1,3bar resulting in 440whp and 11,[email protected]/h (acctually i think it only was 416whp at that time).
The plans for next summer is 500+whp and 10'[email protected]

Sorry for thread steal but i think it is of intresst for thread maker to :)
hehe and i hope you can understand my realy bad english to :D

I think you would need to put an os gear set in the standard box 1/2/3/4.
Thats what i did with my 32.

Bearing in mind ive seen cars run 10.1s on STANDARD transmission (barring clutch) with similar power level, im sure that car, driven well, and on good tyres, providing it stays in the power band on gearchanges, will run 10s.

But ive seen cars with higher power running 12s, so down to the driver a lot...

Depends on the power band, T88 is so laggy that you need to be able to stay in the power band through the gear changes. I agree with **** - 11 secs unless you can change gear like a good and have an engine that will get rid of some of that T88 lag.

I 2nd that as ive seen big power cars not get good times due to the driver not being up to it.

Also seen a car on STD Box get 10.1.

never a truer (sp) word spoken! :bowdown1:

hence the reason i run high 12s
agree with **** too, i have onlt done 4 quarter miles in any car and with a tad over 500 in my gtt could not get even a 12!!! practice means alot and having one big turbo like i do is not ideal
