Mmmmm must admit I don't understand the Yank supposed sense of humour, but think I get what you are implying Mr R!!!

BUT, it just goes to show that EVEN Mr Yu is suggesting it is not as good as he hoped and he is s Nismo bum chum

FFS Steve. You're just embarrassing yourself on this. It's constant!!
Many of us agree, but don't feel need to say it on an almost daily basis. Are you trying to troll those who've bought a Nismo?

Let it go, get on with your life, as said above.

I do know your sense of humour, it's a flavour of that favoured by Paul Whitehouse and Harry Enfield: if it's worth telling once, it's worth telling 1000 times.

I'm not denying your right. I'm questioning the need to continually do it.

I'm glad somebody noticed my article this month. Sod's Law it had to be Steve who posted about it...

:chuckle:

What Steve is perpetually failing to grasp, is that the Nismo isn't aimed at him or the majority of GT-R owners. I daresay it's partially aimed at those for whom the GT-R is too cheap to be taken seriously and too common to be desirable and for whom the very idea of it being tuned is abhorrent.

My two biggest complaints about the non-N Attack car I drove was the poor matching of damping to springing and the pretty unforgivable omission of CCM brakes when they were standard on the 5 year old Spec-V.

It is definitely a far more agile and capable platform than the standard car, but for use on British roads needs much better dampers and more compliant springs, which I suspect the Ohlins-equipped N Attack version will provide.

The price, and the numbers Nismo intend to sell, are no more relevant than those for a 458 Speciale, an SLS Black Series or a BMW M3 GTS. They are specialist, niche "ultimate versions" of the base car.

Bringing any tuner into the discussion is simply completely missing the point.

Dave, I always check your spelling and punktuation (yes for all the idiots, the K was on purpose) :chuckle:

Are you sure ?

Nismo GTR looks overdone and tacky in my opinion.
But it's a serious weapon for going quick judging by the positive autocar sutcliffe review.
