Hi!

Anyone know what the sensor sitting in the catalyst on a R32 GTR is? Do i really need it or can it be deleted? ;)

The oxygen/lambda sensors sits in the elbows so wonder what that little bugger is.

It's the Cat high temp warning sensor. If the car reaches high temps it indicates that there's something wrong with the engine ;) And the catalysator gets to hot :)

You can run your car without it, just tuck it away somewhere. I tkae it your asking this because you have a decat pipe and have no where to put it.

Thanks for the answers guys, that was exactly what I needed too hear!

Yeah, I've changed the hole exhaust 2 years ago, and just like you said Hodgie, tucked it away and haven't noticed anything wrong, but selling the car now so just wanted to make sure this didn't have any negative effect on the engine if a potencial buyer wonders! ;)
