Im not sure where you would find tips non stock for stock back box however. I assume your system is stock?

Carbon dip will not stand up to the temperatures!

+1 I did this with mine but just did the internal surface. Outer chrome usually polishes up easily and looks good too (IMHO)

You don't think? Talked to the guy and he said it should be fine on outside as works on brake calipers. I might give it a whirl and see what happens!

Spoke with a company the other week about doing it for a friends Ninja and they said it would not last that long!

Might be different for a car but i wouldn't risk it without a cast iron guarantee!!
