RE The conversation about the Six Speed Box in the Supra thread...

Forgive me if i am wrong but if the gearboxes are the same for the Supra and the R34 maybe this expands the availability of getting a replacement box???

Although i am a little puzzled how one is 2wd and the other is 4wd...

hi ZX - I dont know if they are in fairness - I have a new one now just need to get it fitted so no worries now although I can detonate another soon!

It's the "transfer box" which is mounted to the rear of the gearbox that makes it 4WD. I wouldn't expect the casing to be the same as the Supra, perhaps the internals are the same ?
