First off had great day up at Bishopscourt.
This was the first time ive been 1/4 mile racing and i can see how lots of you guys are so hooked... best fun you can have with your clothes on :chuckle:

First run was at 2pm 21c and managed 11.8. was well happy with that..must have done another 10 runs all around 11.7

Best run of the day was 11.641 with 60ft time 1.877
crossing the line @ 121.31

time to start buying go faster bits now i think....

benji i need a cobb!!! :wavey:

hks y pipe fitted...thats it..
technique off the line was soon as the amber lights went on i let go of the break. she didnt creep forward so didnt break the beam...

What did the old R34 do, time wise....

Oh you and Dave etc up for a trip to The RING 2nd weekend in September...???

Just a thought, 3 of us going so far...

Also give me a bell if your going down the COBB rought, as I might join ya!!

hi m8....daves best time was a 13 something... needs a clutch thou. was slipping all the way up..id say they are quite even if he sorts the clutch out.

as regards to the cobb.....:D:D
a must !!
gonna order 1 in couple of weeks...shall we order 2???? lol :thumbsup:

So were you 100% on the brake, i.e. using launch control?
Any less than 100% brake and you almost immediately get "clutch overheat" warnings as the clutch strains against the brake.

Your 60' times are very good whichever technique you were using. Maybe the drag strip surface helps there?

didnt use launch control. brake on as if i was waiting at the traffic lights. when amber lights started i let off the brake, so had nothing pressed for that split 2nd until the light goes green then nailed it....lol

btw all in r mode and using paddles....
