After reading oct/09 of banzai mag, of the drifting R32 running a T38,

the report would suggest fitting a smaller exhaust A/R on the back of a larger inlet A/R supplies early boost spool up, and continue's without running out of 'puff' to the red line, 8k or 9k rpm limit, i am unsure.

my question is, is it possible to have a HKS T51R KAI [non-BB] modified by a UK turbo specialist for a .80 or .75 rear housing [instead of the current 1.0AR], for earlier boost suiting drifting and small circuits.

I could then have an ecu map set for the smaller rear housing and a seperate map for the larger rear housing:-[hks standard 1,0AR] housing] for the larger circuits/street.

can it be done?
any guess at the cost?

Nothing from the Garret turbo family will fit easily, All the HKS exhaust housings are to HKS own design. Even the T62 1.2A/R exhaust housing is different to the T51 SPL 1.2 A/R housing.
