After reading oct/09 of banzai mag, of the drifting R32 running a T38,
the report would suggest fitting a smaller exhaust A/R on the back of a larger inlet A/R supplies early boost spool up, and continue's without running out of 'puff' to the red line, 8k or 9k rpm limit, i am unsure.
my question is, is it possible to have a HKS T51R KAI [non-BB] modified by a UK turbo specialist for a .80 or .75 rear housing [instead of the current 1.0AR], for earlier boost suiting drifting and small circuits.
I could then have an ecu map set for the smaller rear housing and a seperate map for the larger rear housing:-[hks standard 1,0AR] housing] for the larger circuits/street.
can it be done?
any guess at the cost?
