I'm poor, and my brakes are shot...
I am looking to buy a second hand set of uprated brakes as I simply don't trust mine anymore, what I'm wondering is how difficult it is fitting a set of uprated brakes to an R32 GTR for someone with an 'ok' level of mechanical knowledge?
Are there any issues I am going to encounter that would be different say from uprating a set of Fiesta RS turbo brakes to Escort Cosworth brakes (as these are what I have done in the past?)
Only really asking as if I can afford to get a second hand set of uprated brakes for my BNR32 then I doubt I will be able to pay for someone to fit them at the moment, as besides, on a nice sunny day it would be a fun afternoon of car play time - obviously I am also acutely aware that I am fu*king with the one main item that actually stops my car, hence the post
So when I say 'Is it difficult' I don't mean to get responses such as 'if your nor sure, don't do it' as I do half at lease half a brain, and I’m sure it can't be 'that' difficult, and besides, I want to learn more other than always paying a mechanic to do it.
Cheers guys
