Morning all,

So I got a flat tyre a few days back after spending £1100 on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S just 3 weeks ago. Long story short, another £250 later, I’m back up and running (yay!), but I need to get rid of the stupid flat tyre message.

Is there anyone local to the Middlesex/Hertfordshire area that could give me a hand in this please?

Really appreciate it.

TIA!

Hi,

I've also got Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres on my GT-R and have just got a flat tyre unfortunately! Can I ask how you got yours fixed? I don't fancy taking it to Westway main dealer as it will cost £500+ just for one tyre. Guess I'll also need to get rid of the flat tyre message.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Cheers :)

Hello,

depending on where the puncture wound is it could be repaired. Obviously there are some that would not do such a. Thing on their gtr.
If your local to a Costco they will repair and refill with nitrogen

if you don’t want to repair or it can’t be done then you need to keep your eye out on some tyres

where are you located buddy?

the tyre reset we can sort after the tyre is fixed but it won’t go away if the tyre is flat

Hi, thanks for the info buddy. I'm based in Manchester. I've only had the car 3 months and a few people on here recommended AC Speedtech for servicing/MOT, but I hadn't even thought about tyres! I might call them tomorrow.

How do you find the Costco repair job? My gut feel is I should take it to a specialist centre (as it's a high spec car)... but I don't know whether it could be a perfectly good alternative...?

Take to AC
They know their stuff

Costco won’t repair it if it’s not repairable
Costco usually do deals on buying 4 michelin tyres with £100 off usually with free fitting and disposal etc

depends what u need doing

pictures would help of your issue.
Pilot super sport is an old tyre now
You want to get in to some ps4s tyres
What a Difference in the wet

Hi mate, do you reckon it's ok to mix michelin ps4s with pilot super sport?
Thinking I can just replace the punctured one with a new ps4s, but not sure about tread patterns (some firms I've rang say to be careful about this).
My pilot super sports only have about 1-2mm of wear so seems a waste to replace all 4 of them just for one punctured tyre!

Ok thanks, really useful to know for the future re. Costco and the ps4s.

It's basically just a flat tyre - will get a pic later but not sure it will show much tbh. Not sure how bad a puncture it is at the moment.

The car came with a tyre repair kit... would you advise use that to inflate it so I can drive it to AC? Guess my only other option is to call breakdown to take it there.
