I thought id make a thread dedicated soley to the engines I have for sale.
both removed from my own cars

first engine is the 655hub hp, 493 hub lbft rb26
this power was made February this year and motor has done approx. 1 - 2k miles since

mileage is unknown but ive removed the sump for inspection and can confirm
hks rods and pistons 87mm bore so 2650 cc
jun oil pump
trust sump extension and baffle/pick up
stock crank lightened and balanced
standard diff in sump
hks 1.6mm headgasket
tomei headstuds
hks cambelt and idler/tensioner 2k miles
os giken cam gears
apexi stage 2 cams 10.3mm lift, 260 d duration
ported head inlet and exhaust
oil pressure 40 psi idle, 82 psi 4k rpm +

I made sure to get pics of oil pressure before I stripped the cars

it has been super reliable I clocked 0 - 100 in 7.2 seconds, and 30 - 130 in 9.76 seconds results are on the forum in skyline chat vbox runs

we all know how much ££££ it would cost to replicate this engine, priced to sell at £4000 which imo is a bargain price











second motor has done just 2.4k miles since complete rebuild !
motor was rebuilt by broadspeed services and I have receipts for work done.

spec of motor
87mm je forged pistons with oversized gudgeon pins
new little end bearings resized for oversize gudgeon pin
acl race big end and main bearings
all new gaskets and seals throughout
new water pump
oil pump stripped, inspected and rebuilt
new cambelt
cylinder block bored and decked
crankshaft checked for straightness and journals polished

motor was ran in for 1k miles at 0.5 bar. then ran 1.2 bar for 1.4k miles and that is it. excellent oil pressure as pictured below

priced at £3500 due to being almost new and forged pistons

also for the stock motor with forged pistons I can verify the mileage and build

here is the invoice for the build that doesn't include the cost of the pistons ! they were an extra £700 supplied to broadspeed services.

and current mileage read from clocks when car stripped




imo this motor is better than a fresh build as its taken out the risk of issues as many have had ive seen after rebuilds. its been run in and made good power with no issues and at a considerable cost saving to the buyer.
also emmisions were a pass at last mot 1k miles ago may 14th 2012 co 1.61 %, hc 578 ppm all again indicating a very healthy engine.

I only have exhaust port pics that I took when manifold was off late last year and I cleaned the ports out removeing the carbon and took pics, will take some inlet ones tmrw

forged motor now being offered in parts

jun oil pump £500
trust sump extension with baffle kit and stock diff £600
complete cylinder head with stage 2 cams and os giken gears £1400
bottom end with hks pistons and rods, balanced crank and tomei head studs £1800
1k miles hks headgasket and 2k miles hks cambelt and new oe idler and adjuster £200

or I may take a close offer on the engines try me, id rather not strip any of them there good motors but I will if I have some paid buyers ;)

picking my r35 up on sunday so could do with the cash lol all the r32/r33 parts are now 100% surplus to requirements and I want them out the way all sensible offers wont be refused

700hp engine sold, rebuilt 450 hp engine still available.

I can do the rebuilt motor with no inlet/throttle bodies for £3000 ;)

rebuilt rb26 now £2500 with no inlet, throttle bodies or ancillaries a bare tall motor

also willing to separate (although it is a terrible shame as its like new)

bottom end with forged 87mm je pistons, acl bearings £1800
cylinder head complete with cams and all covers £900
complete cambelt and tensioners done 2k miles £100

then ps pump, alternator etc available.

Bump for top class seller - this is a bargain, I've just rebuilt mine and wish this was available before i started. would have saved a fortune.

Engine your breaking, would you not break the bottom end? Im after some pistons for right size/price

I would consider it, id have to try and price it up there 87mm je pistons with oversize gudgeon pins and total seal rings done 2.4k miles.

for £1800 that bottom end is complete with sump and front diff on all untouched ready to go, just fit your head and away with a new tried and tested motor with forged pistons ready for some big boost ;)
the head with cams but no covers I will do for £650 which will again be ready to bolt straight on cams still fitted all shimmed up.
rocker covers, cambelt cover and coilpack cover £250
inlet manifold, throttle bodies, plenum, throttle shaft with tps, fuel rail and fpr £300
air con pump £50
alternator £50
ps pump £50
cas £70

well I am now willing to let the rb26 go with the complete inlet side and ancillaries for £2500, that is an absolute bargain imo for a fresh forged rb26 motor.
