Saw a nice R33 in Essex today.

You really don't see these rare cars around in the UK much.

Other than the fact that someone seems to have stuck a GT-R badge on it?

That's because it is a GTR, rare as hens teeth Autech 4 door version

My old 4 door from a track day.

This was a good few years ago.
One thing I can tell you all for certain is that the R33 4 door body is MUCH stiffer than 2 door, it's taken me an age to get my present R33 handling anywhere near that car did.
On the day that photo was taken that was a skylineowners national day and was 2nd fastest of any car (inc. GTR's) there on the top-speed test, that was timed at the end of about 2/3rds of a mile.
After some evolution + a year that car (not driven by me) was lapping Dalton barracks track at Abingdon quicker than a CSR260 Caterham.
And driven by Ludders was a mid 12s quarter car, all day, driven home from Santa pod 100% perfect still.
Link to one race from above:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10tFdIRS2to
Not to be underestimated.

Il have to keep a look out for one of these,
I didn't even know these existed! Look quite nice
You might be waiting for a while Endless32, The interweb says that these only started production in Jan 1998 and just 350 GT-R's were built! I cannot find any numbers on the Autech 40th Anniversary edition though.....

HTH!
