Due to a slight downsize and Different flanges, I am selling my turbo.
It is a garret gt4088r and seems a very popular turbo for upto and around 700hp.

It is the water cooled version, t4 twinscrill housing and ported compressor housing.

It has had minimal use. I'd say under 100 road miles. Two dyno sessions and about 6 trackdays.

The turbine housing has been drilled for an egt sensor. This could be blanked or welded I suppose, but It would be silly not to install a sensor anyway.

I'd tell you what power etc it made on mine but to be honest, I can't remember. I'm sure it was 600odd at 1.3 bar.

I can't think of anything else to say, so if anyone has any questions, just ask.

Looking for £650 plus postage/paypal fees etc.

Or pickup by all means, located in Leeds, 2 mins from airport.

I enquired about the gtx wheel.
To be honest, my main reason for changing is for having a v-band exhaust housing (inlet and outlet)

Rich bang a .63 hotside on it.will spool about 3-4rpm quicker and maybe cheaper lol

what would be the use of a 0.63 hotside on a gt40 ? im sure it would just limit power to similar to a gt30, i ran the 0.85 on my gt4094r and power maxed out at 630hp basically like a gt35, i then went upto the 1.06 with no other change and made 730hp.

with a 0.63 housing i think it would max out at approx 530hp !

The rk tuning track car made over 700bhp with a gtx3582 with a .82 rear housing so I would imagine a gt40 with a .85 housing would make more power than that mate

thats what it made dan, i changed upto the 1.06 as you know and made another 100 hp also your comparing a gtx not gt series.
it did 30 - 130 in 9.7 seconds i cant see any gt35 equiped car manageing that on a h pattern.

I know this made ~680 on a higher boost setting on mine. But we capped it at 1.3 - 4 as I wanted it safe.

Since my new turbo has different sized water fittings, I'll supply the turbo with all the old fittings that I don't need.
