Ok.... bought some oil (4litres)

Fully synthetic 75x90 Valvoline

Had a wee swatche under the car this afternoon to check out the fill and drain locations. Looks like it'll be fun filling the bastard!

Any tips that could help avoid oil spills when filling? I.e How the **** do you do it!

Plug sizes? What size are the square drives....? Fill is bigger than Drain yes?

Any help apreciated!

Oh.... any hints on where i'd find 85w90 diff oil? Is it just LSD diff oil in the rear, or ok in both?

I presume you have a GTR (ie 4wd) if so, you need to drain the gearbox oil from the bottom female square drive plug and fill through the drivers side male square drive plug. (do not fill from the shifter, thats for transfere case oil ATF)

Square drives are 1/2" so you can use a socket extension.

Buy yourself an oil syringe and stand the oil containers in a bucket of hot water for 15 mins before the fill up.

PS... i now know this is in the wrong section, should be in maint :/

I'm going to use the follwing in the diffs
