I have seen some headlights on the R33 GTR which are glass, are these the UK spec cars?
Have also seen them called xenon?
Any more info on these?

You must have seen those bright white headlights with a blue'ish tint as they approach you, those are xenon lights they produce approx 300% more light than standard bulbs and use less power, they're also know as HID which stands for high intensity discharge. As i understand it there are conversion kits available but they aint cheap at around 200 quid... thats a ton of halogen bulbs but a web search would probably give you more info on price etc, hope this sheds some 'light' on the matter

AFAIK all R33 headlamps are plastic lenses.

I had a set of Xenons on my previous R33, and they were definitely plastic lens'd

The only ones I have seen on a R33 GTR are the lights on the carbon clad Bee-R R33 GTR, the purple one, this has glass headlights.
I asked Miguel at Newera and he said these can be sourced but they are £730 each!!
Think i will be giving it a miss then!
Best go get some more T cut on those plastic lights!
