I'd recommend getting there very early. At least then you have a chance of looking round the paddock before it gets far too busy to see anything. The overcrowding and cost put me off after my first visit 3 or 4 years ago.
If I were to do it again I'd do it over two days and camp in-between. Day one for roaming grandstand tickets and day 2 for all off-track stuff. The crowds would still pee me off though.
so im guessing its just as bad as silverstone with the f1 it took us over a hour just to get out of the car park.Agree it gets stupidly busy there so arrive early and don't leave at the end when everyone else does
There is more than enough to do in 4 days let alone 1. Knowing it as I do, I would feel robbed only going for 1 or 2 days. As I say I missed the first one but have been every year since. Have even had tea with Lord March. (it's his front garden)
If you haven't got a ticket for Sunday by now I doubt if you will get one as this is the timed event day for the Hill :chuckle:So, knowing it as you do, what would be the top things to see, if you were only able to go for one day?
And which day would you pick of the 4? My mind thinks sunday as that's when I have been before and for some reason I think there is more F1 stuff - is this right?
I bet that was a very expensive cup of tea...There is more than enough to do in 4 days let alone 1. Knowing it as I do, I would feel robbed only going for 1 or 2 days. As I say I missed the first one but have been every year since. Have even had tea with Lord March. (it's his front garden)
