I have just got my car back from Gary at GT-Art and all I can say is WOW !

THANKS GARY !

The car was suffering quite heavily from lack of throttle response at low revs. ie. below 4,000 RPM and the lag was unbearable .Now both cured !My turbos now seem to spool up from 2,500 revs (25/10's) which I find amazing. I also had a MAJOR problem with turbo shuffle,which has now been reduced significantly but can't be cured 100% unless one changes the manifold which is not cheap but on the agenda.Gary will soon be manufacturing his own manifolds which I'll probably will be putting on mine.I can't wait.

All the fluids in the car have been changed to Motul fluids apart from the gearbox which was supplied from the main dealer!The differance they have made is truly unbelievable !Especially the brake fluid which has made the brake pedal action just so much firmer !The car just seems to run that little bit better and more 'free' if you know what I mean with the Motul liquids in. .Highly recommended if you want the best!

I can go on for hours talking about what Gary has done to my car (and many others) . All I'm going to say is you can't go wrong with him, which is also true with most of the Skyline specialists out there but in my books, GARY IS THE DADDY when it comes to cars!He gives them loads of TLC which I have never seen before .

If you r brake fluid had not been changed recently, would the pedal action not firm up anyway. I presume that you are using high boiling point bf so the difference will appear when you make the discs glow!

The cars is not even 2 years old yet so the brake fluid is not that old.I don't know excactly how often the fluid must be changed.Anyone ? But saying that MM might have had the car for a year or so till they sold it,so the fluid might even be 3 years old.I'll have to look into that me thinks !
As to what boiling points the brake fluid has I know not.Maybe GT-Art can enlighten us ?
All I know the brakes are spot on now due to fluids/GT-Art .You only need to hover your foot over the pedal and the car stops !
Hopefully GT_Art will be fitting one of those Cusco brake brace to firm it up even more.

Motul Oils

Good man.What oils have you changed and have you noticed any differences ?
I'd be intrested to see if your assesments of the oils are similar to mine !

Paul...I don't do oil changes any more, I use a skyline expert like you told me
I am not sure if he has changed any (I left them in the boot of the car). I thought the gearbox was coming off but it did not as it is the clutch that is at fault. I just keep a bootful of Motul ready for when any oil gets changed. I think the benefits of Motul are well documented and as you may find out this weekend, I am not the best person to ask, i.e. I can't spot serious things wrong with the car never mind subtle changes All will be revealed
