Greetings to all the GTR.CO.UK forum members!

I'm Alex and I've been a member of this forum since 2005. I have always appreciated the huge amount of support and the wealth of knowledge which the forum members so openly share. So firstly, I'd like to say a huge thanks to all of those who have contributed to this fantastic group of like-minded people with a passion for all things GT-R related.

I am a photographer and videographer currently based in Berlin, Germany and have long had the dream of creating a book about the personalities who forged the reputation of the Nissan Skyline GT-R, as well as the owners who continue to enjoy these amazing cars.

I decided to take the plunge at the beginning of this year and set off on a round-the-world trip, completely unplanned and spontaneous.

My journey ended up taking me to Australia, USA, UK, Germany, UAE and Japan and I was fortunate enough to meet and photograph some amazing characters and some very special cars.

The book follows my adventure around the world and features GT-R and 370Z Chief Product Specialist Hiroshi Tamura, "Smoky" Nagata, Kazunori Yamauchi, Andy Middlehurst, Larry Chen, Sean Lee, Jim Richards, Jann Mardenborough and Richard Wheeler to name but a few.

There are also some very special cars such as Tamura-san's personal R32 GT-R, the GIO Group A R32 GT-R Bathurst car, "Sully" the 400R, the Mine's R34 GT-R created by Niikura-san, Philipp Berndt's amazing R32 and Tommy's (tommyfyeah youtube channel) R32.

The end result is a premium printed 208-page hardback book and is due to be dispatched on 13.12.19. It is now open for pre-sales so head over to: www.gtrthejourney.com

Thank you all!

Alex
