Hi guys,

Did a search but couldn't find the right answer, which is the best coolant to use in a GTR, does it matter or will any decent one do you think ???

As with RX7's we had to use a specific coolant as others eat away the seals, obviously being a piston engine the coolant used for the GTR would be different.

Any thoughts ?

I just use the original stuff from Nissan. Is greeny in colour...

I suppose you could use any antifreeze, but i personally choose to use the OE stuff.

Ok,

So theres no requirement for specific coolant for the GTR cars then, was looking at some HKS super coolant on ebay but will get the next best thing from Halfords tomorrow then, cheers

I tend to prefer to use something that changes colour with dilution so that know whether to top up with (kettle) water or coolant to get it back to strength.
