Firstly ... HAPPY NEW YEAR :clap:

As we don't have a habit of posting events until about two months before the actual date and people last year saying if they'd known we were going etc. So as we're still awaiting our new events calendar and club stand booking system to go live, I thought a date in your diary style thread which will let you all know what shows & events the GTROC will be at 2014.

Events will be split into two catagories.

KEY events will be the big ones that the club is focusing on.
Other events will be run by your local GTROC area reps and or myself as well which have proved past favourites.

The new way of getting yourself on our club stands will be coming along with full instructions how the system works. However with this temporary thread you will have no excuse for not coming along claiming you didn't know the dates!

I will be adding to this list so check back to this first post as it will always be the correct and up to date one :clap:

It was really good last year.

We're on the GTROC European Road Trip so can't make it this year but I bet you have a great time - even though most the pubs in Donington are closing.

I guess Ross is the man who will coordinate the event and I'll ask him on Saturday at the NEC.

There are no official GTROC plans unless Dave steps forward for this again ...

No as it clashes with the first GTROC London Meet at the Ace Cafe - both are Ace Cafe Events! Brighton Council in their wisdom will only allow the Ace to have the event on the Saturday

So if the weather is good Brighton will be packed out already before the event!
From bookings so far it will be even chavier than last year! So we're pushing the Ace Cafe ...

However don't panic as the new Regional Rep has some coastline meets arranged

Well they're threatening to move all the clubs around again this year, though the new organisers were good to us last year. However I have warned if the GTROC end sup miles from the paddock again or some muddy backwater ditch - though we booked and paid just after Christmas - the club is NEVER, EVER going again ...

Any chat re Silverstone Classic this year? I love CPOP but don't really want to spend another birthday there (also means I also have missed my sisters birthday for the past 2 years too) So Silverstone was what I thought might be a good event instead.
