We are finding it very difficult locating a venue for the proposed club shootout, due to noise levels that are now being enforced ... 95-100db

1/ so if anyone has knowledge of a usable venue please let me know.

2/ to take part at exsisting venues would you be willing to modify/fit an exhaust thats allows compliance within the regulations. The target should be approx 95db at 3/4 throttle @ 1 metre

An airfield is more suitable for the type of event we want to organise.

North Weald has an enforced noise limit and very restrictive area for use. Not really suitable since the sunday market got moved.

Does that include when the owner lands one of his jets there?

straight line plus a circuit if poss.

The timing equipment will allow us to run 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 times, top speed plus carry on into a circuit and provide lap time, if the driver wanted to that is.

I'm doing an event in April at North Weald so will see if i can pin down the organiser and find out how much space they would allow us to you

bearing in mind it might be a weekday, they may allow full use of the runway?

Syd,
the Car limits days are advertised as "no noise limits" (within reason)

Have you spoken to Andrew Walsh or someone else at NW??

I'm not questioning you Syd,

only the Car limits days website quotes "no noise limits" (within reason)

Surely that can't be 98db or whatever?
