GTROC Silverstone Track Day - Grand Prix Circuit - Bank Holiday Monday 26th May
After another eventful and enjoyable track day last Sunday on the famous Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, I can announce that we have negotiated the next one to be on Monday 26th May at a special price of £354.00 per car for GTROC members.
Confirmed that we will as usual have four Free of Charge Formula One pit garages.
At this event I will be bringing with me four adults that bid in a charity auction for the Air Ambulance. The amount paid was enough for one complete sortie for the Air Ambulance to leave RAF Benson, land at Silverstone, go to either Oxford or Milton Keynes and return to base - a considerable amount of money! I would ask all drivers to offer these four people rides in their cars as they have been incredibly generous towards this charity that is quite close to my heart.
It has a 102db drive by and 105db static noise restriction which proved to be slightly restricting for some last week, but we are working on something for the noisy ones with Mr Litchfield.
Please do not book directly through Silverstone as I have already reserved 20 places at this discounted price for GTROC members. This includes £15.00 worth of food vouchers and the 4 free pit garages.
Please go to the GTR Owners Club website GTR Owners Club and buy the event through the shop which is under the section of Track Days. If it doesn't appear today, then it will be there very shortly!
Hopefully I have given all you Track addicts plenty of time to plan your diaries well in advance.
Jake Hill will as usual be available for Track Instruction and now being a Touring Car winner and Porsche Carrera Cup driver you will get a 'Star in the Car' with you.

Toyo 888's Try before you Buy set of tyres for R35 GT-R
Again, I have arranged with Toyo tyres to have a new set of scrubbed Toyo 888's mounted on one of my spare set of wheels that we will be offering any GT-R owner to try on their car at the Silverstone Track Day on May 26th
I have Dean with me with all wheel changing gear, and all it will cost is £40 for the fitting and five laps of the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit. If you like them (I cannot think of a single reason why you shouldn't unless you like less grip and less fun), then you can order a set on the day and get them at the special rate for GTROC members.
Please bear in mind that the TPMS sensors will not work while testing but will work again when your original tyres are put back on.
A few T' and C's like destroying them against an Armco or flat spotting (never yet achieved on a GT-R) or damage over and above the usage over 5 laps
Please add your names for this fantastic 'Try before you Buy' deal
