Which is £100+ less than the 2 rear Bridgestones I currently need.

I am running pirelli p zero atm and they seem pretty good to me. Got them at the right money so gave them a try. Loads quieter aswell.

They're the same speed and load rating as MPSS, I reckon they'd be fine, but isn't 35 ratio too big?

The sizes you quote have a 10.75 mm difference in the profile and i cant remember what the allowance is,also the sidewall profile would be getting quite high with those.

315/30 rear and 275/35 front would be a good match if you can get them.

Dont do it.
I had them on my 33 and changed them after 2k as they were no good imho.

Pretty ok in the dry but show them a damp road and they are all over the place. I wouldnt buy them again as you get what you pay for with tyres.

To be fair he did say it was for a daily commuter drive, not an attempt at the ring lap record, I've had all sorts of rubber on my previous Jap modified cars, all with no traction control, and never found a ditch, you soon learn the limits of the tyre IMO.
