This sunday, its the largest hill climb in the uk, :clap: 12 cars in my class, :) my 33 gtr 520 hp, 5 evo,s 3 are 6,s .. 2 are & 9,s fq & a gt, escort coss, xr4 i, m3, 240 z, golf turbo, reno 21. all car we plenty of mods, 20 ish tvr,s there, hope to give them a good :chairshot . 150 cars racing in total,,, are you still going dave,,, burger van there & a bar too, a very hard track we plenty to see, get your self over if you can, the sun & a first would be nice, :) cheers. yes, still going.
Car is ok but in need of a remap to get back some midrange but I think I have spent enough this year:rolleyes:
Weather should be ok tomorrow. Both of us 1st in our classes would be good:cool:

Sorry for the thread hijack but I've been away Dave, I thought your CAS failed, why do you need a remap?

Not really sure. Think that the CAS was playing up on the last mapping session. It was running with advance at 25 degrees when I got to Thor two weeks ago and after removing and refitting it, it would not accept 20 degrees at all:rolleyes:
Think that it has been changing and was not right some time in the past. Very strange. Thor say that the fueeling is spot on at the top and but rich in the mid range and a remap will sort that and give me more torque. The fuel was not mapped in by Rod and no one else has touched it.
It has not been my year:rolleyes:
Car seems to be running ok and loss of midrange is not really noticeable so I going to leave it for the time being and just drive it:)

D, i know what your saying, got probs myself. 1 afm keeps going to 0 volts now & again when it wants, front hub has a wobble on, & just found my inlet gaskets are fookt, got an air line on the plenum & its p!ssin out all over the place, doh, so my midrange is up the spout too, see you t morra & good luck, :) . cheers. A day of probs.

But not too bad, 1 run damp, was fastest at that point, :) 2nd puncture 20 psi in tyre, :mad: 3rd run 1 actuater rod came off, no boost, all the way round like a metro, :bawling: so 1 clear run, 2nd in class, but only using 0,9 bar boost, with the inlet gaskets probs, with my bro, taking the first by only 6 tenths, but beet the other 9 in the class, with a fair gap, & also 16 tvr,s :clap: next meet curborough, poss this sunday, dave whats your next one, cheers. D
