After cleaning my car and then requiring to give my windscreen a quick wash and wipe, to my annoyance the car sprays out of its headlight washes and then leaves water marks all over my freshly cleaned paint.

Does anyone know how i can spray my windscreen without spraying my headlights and rest of the car’s front??

Was your engine running and were your headlamps on?

On the RX-8 those were the two requirements that determined the headlight washers coming on, not sure if the same rule applies to the GTR.

Manual has it section 2 - 54 :) sad but i read it all one night in the bath...........

Says the headlight operates every 5th pull of the washer stalk switch. This resets when ignition is switched off.

Perhaps fuse removal as per section 8- 24..I did this on my last second to last car, a Merc AMG to stop it happening.

I dont know the fuse or it will fault but will try at the weekend
