hello all. after months of tryin to get my skyline running rite and back on the road i think the headgaskets gone could any 1 hlep and tell me wot i should be lookin for? Cheers Rich

A garage will have a sniffer thing which tests for exhaust fumes in the coolant.

When mine went i had oil in the coolant. Take the cap off and have a look.
There is a guy up the road from me that repairs them-all the tuners use him for there head repairs.

there is no water in the oil and no oil in the water it use a little bit of water it bubbles up when you take cap off rad when it gets warm and ive got no heater. cheers rich

you wont necessarily find oil in water or water in oil

it depends where the head gaskets buggered from it could be that your getting water coming out from your exhaust and in that case you wont find water in oil or vice versa
