HELMINGHAM CAR FESTIVAL
Festival of Classic and Sports Cars
Sunday 3rd August 2014 : 10:00am - 5:00pm

Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 6EF

Held in association with the Suffolk Vehicle Enthusiasts Club (SVEC) ove five thousand people attended the 2013 festival! The event attracts classic and sports car owners who exhibit their cars some of which parade up and down the main drive on the two concourse runs throughout the day. Over seven hundred vehicles have attended previously representing the last ten decades of motoring history, including many from Britain***8217;s motoring heyday. With marques on display such as Alvis, Bristol, Jensen, AC Riley, Armstong Sideley, Lea Francis, Crossley, BSA, Lagonda, Lanchester and Gordon Keeble. The oldest vehicle seen on display was a 1914 Ford Model T and the latest sports car models have included the Chevrolet Corvette and a Ford Mustang as well as Ferraris***8217; and (yawwwwwwn) Porsche :)

This amazing collection of vehicles is displayed against the magnificent back drop of Helmingham Hall and its surrounding moat which sits in the middle of the ancient deer park. For the motorcycle enthusiast you will also be catered for with many clubs and individuals exhibiting as well! Besides vehicles there is main ring entertainment, craft and trade stalls, birds of prey, lots of live music and great, great local food & drink!

The event is also a charity gig with the 2013 event making a £4,500 donation to E.A.C.H - Ipswich Children***8217;s Hospice. Exhibitors have given very generous over the past nine years and we hope that with the 2014 Festival we will be able to make an even greater donation. Lord Tollemache would like to thank everyone who made a donation in 2012 and 2013 to The Ipswich Children***8217;s Hospice which goes to help with the every day running costs of the Hospice as well as days out for the children and their families.

It's a great show and would be a fantastic opportunity for us to show our Skylines and GTRs on a GTROC club stand dependant on members' interest. If we have a stand tickets would be £12 per car which would also include entry for the driver and one passenger. Additional tickets can be bought direct from their website.

I'll be there anyway if the weather is halfway decent. It's usually a great day with all sorts of cars and clubs there.

Signed up and looking forward to the event which should be excellent if last year was anything to go by.

The concourse event is unfortunately sold out as it is an opportunity for exhibitors to show off their car's capabilities down the front drive.
