Hi
I need advice in new spark plugs. I have Greddy (NGK) now but I need new.

My car and mods are:

Skyline R33 GT-R V-spec
HKS Open Air Filter
Modified ECU running approx 0,8-1 bar of boost
Approx 350-380 Hp

I want NGK Iridium plugs but have no clue witch one I need.

Are there any different if I tune the car to 450-500 HP or can I use the same ?

Advice plz

part no. 22401-58S16

You could try that part No. for a search, but basically Denso IQ24's will be perfect and yes they come pre-gapped at 0.8mm.

The IQ22's which should also be fine for about 1.0bar boost are pre-gapped at 1.2mm i believe.

Either way, they both will run colder than your present plugs probably so yeah go for it.I would say the 24's are your best bet!

Ok I have now searched some and come to this conclusion.

The BCPR6EIX-11= IQ20 (=NGK 6) witch is 2 warmer than my current one = not good.

I had Greddy heat 8 and that worked fine.

The problem is that I have the best price and arability on NGK more then 40% off

I found this page http://www.endless-a.demon.co.uk/ngk.htm
and that says BCP8EVX-11 but I can’t find that one in NGK or Champion.

I need equal IQ24 in NGK then : ) if there are any.

Not too sure of your location

or your running conditions Fred, but i am sure that the 24's are good for up to about 1.4 bar boost.A very popular choice i believe.

good luck anyway mate!

Are you running it now. or are you shopping for summer. if you are getting plugs now you should have around 7-8 too keep the temp up in the plugs. And for the warmer summer you need cooler plugs around 6-7. BUT asusual the best alternative is trying around.. Its wery mutch up to what intake temp and comp. ratio so this is for BPU and ´there around.

Fredd,
I think you will find the Denso IQ24's cross reference to NGK 8's, so the part number for the Iridium plugs should be BCPR8EIX-11
