Morning all i have had to remove the track rod end off a r33 gtr ther rear one i used an old thred on here to remove it by welding a bolt on and using a 36mm socket and it was hard but it came out lol the only problem now is i cant get the new one in , i spoke to RSP and they said put the track rod end in the freezer and slowly heat the alloy hub end then they should just slot in the when cool will stay in and not come out , but i couldnt get in more than half in so i put it back in the freezer on saturday, and i am goin up to the garage in a bit but can anyone else help me by telling me another way of getting it in? Without removing the hub.

Hope that makes sence oooops

Thanks

There should be a threaded hole in the back of the balljoint that goes into the hub. you should be able to put a bit of threaded rod in there (unsure of size) and use a socket on the back of the hub + a thick washer and use this to pull the balljoint in. Heating the hub and chilling the balljoint should help
