Personal circumstances are such that I may have to get rid of my motor and I'm looking to forum members for their experience and help. I have a 13 plate MY12 with 6300 miles on the clock, just about to have its 12 month service. At present it has a Litchfield Stage 2 but looking to revert back to standard...my question is what price should/will I be able to get for it? I have looked at the 'buy any car' sites and asked Nissan but quite frankly what they are offering is insulting. All guidance with be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I'd say a dealer would be looking to sell it at £60k-£62k, so they would offer you £52k-£54k. Privately I'd be looking to pay £56k to £58k.

I've worked that using PH and AT and my knowledge of dealer mark ups having traded in two cars in the last 18 months.

I think Ady at RS direct in Yate Bristol was doing valuations for GTR's, at a cost obviously. Might just give you an idea of price as he is 100% straight down the line with you.

When I got my MY11 a year old with 3,700 miles on the clock I paid £57,500.
That was a private sale.

I'd say around that figure is right for a one year old GT-R if selling privately.
I'd expect dealers to offer around £54-55k so they can put it up at 60k.

From new they do drop about £15k in the first year, then it starts to level off a bit.

No idea on price.... but is it worth taking it back to standard? Stage 2 is an almost perfect GTR ;)
If I have to get rid of it I plan on being back in one soon and would want to keep the Akraprovic that's on there at the mo, that's the only reason for changing it back. I still have my old Milltek Y-pipe so could put it back to Stage 1 if it would add any value or make it more appealing...but then the cost to do it, is it worth the trouble? half of one six of the other....

Ahhh, didnt realise that you have an Akro on there.... If you have the Milltek, speak to Sly he his standard backboxes for next to nothing, should be a quick swap over and slight adjustment to the map.

I do believe that the noise will help sell the car!

These we buy any car websites are a total ripoff I'd say advertise yourself on here or on piston heads and I'd say a realistic price would be £55-57k mark in my opinion it's worth that all day long.... Good luck with the sale dude... Shame feel for you
